Figured Glass
Patterned or figure rolled glass is made by running molten glass over a patterned roller which reproduces the pattern on the glass. In addition to diffusing light and obstructing visibility from the outside, the figures soften the interior lighting.Figured roll glass is used to diffuse, not obscure, an object when viewing. The glass is also used as a popular decorative product. Specially designed figured glass used for architectural application in buildings, furniture and decoration, windows and doors. Different patterns e.g., Pin Head, MISTLITE, FLORA, KASUMI, OCEANIC, Karatachi, swastik, crown, saphire, Yozura with thicknesses from 3mm to 5mm. are very popular. Figured glass is a decorative and translucent glass with figures on one face.
The patterns are able to soften the light in a space and ,at a suitable angle,to curtain the visibility through it.
These Figured Glass are used for different purposes and are quite popular for commercial and domestic
applications.

Toughened Glass
The toughened glass is a single-layer glass in which a tension-spread system forms due to conscious heat treatment. Because of this, the mechanical resistance ability of the glass rises seven – eight times.
Technical description In both surfaces of the glass sheet there is compression stress, which decreases along the thickness of the glass sheet and in the centre it forms tension stress. The compression and tension stressed fields are separated from each other with neutral zones. If the toughened glass is tried to be bent, first the compression stress decreases on the pulled surface and just after the tension stress will form, which leads to breakage. As a result of this, the toughened glass has bigger mechanical strength and hardness than a traditional float glass.
Fields of application Glass canopies Glass roofs Glass stairs Glass floors Glass walls, doors without frames Shower stalls Glass strengthening ribs for glass walls Load-bearing glass implements, load-bearing glass beams, glass coverings Point-jointed facades Glass solutions in interior decoration (pl.shelves, tables, displays)
